The majority of players will most likely want to play SimCity in single player mode most of the time, controlling several cities and sharing resources across them. Things have settled down now but the interaction between regions remains prone to error.

Like many have said before me, the main issue with SimCity's 2013 incarnation is the Online requirements which made the game practically unplayable at launch.

Overall, Sim City is a quite nice and attractive game, but with a lots of flaws and false promises. Another huge negative point are the small areas to build. So if you get two fires in the city, it can be that all firetrucks are going for the fire of a two family home, but then a skyscraper burns down to ashes. The fire workers, the police, the garbage and lots of other things. This system also works for nearly everything in the game. They leave the house for the nearest open work place and leave the work place for the nearest open home. The Sims are seldom going to the same workplace again, and they have got no fixed home. In these areas, the cities are influencing each other. It looks gorgeous, and the multi-player mode where you can build your city in a region with other players' cities was quite interesting. Sadly, this promising game is like a sword with two edges.

Fans waited a long time for this game, and the promising features of the game were quite interesting and encouraging.
